Privatization, Commercialization and Liquidation

The firm has been engaged as legal consultants since 2001 to date by the Federal Government of Nigeria through the Bureau of Public Enterprises in conducting legal due diligence, winding up and liquidation of public enterprises in the Industrial and manufacturing sector of the economy where about $65 million United States Dollars (N7billion) has so far been realized.

Jaiye Agoro & Co. has also conducted Due Diligence on a Nigerian Public Enterprise in the Steel Industry for a core investor who was eventually declared the preferred bidder.

The firm was also engaged to prepare a port concession agreement in the Federal Government of Nigeria bid to commercialise the Nigerian Ports Authority.
